The undertaker with heart and soul reveals to us how famous actors organise their deaths and what actually takes place at the graveside of famous people such as Mozart and Beethoven, among others. He tells us the last and next to last words uttered by renowned personalities and introduces the reader to the appropriate conduct of undertakers. At the end of the book the reader finds an "Index of Last Things", highlighting the most essential on this topic.

Julius Müller was born in 1939 in Vienna. He began his career in 1971 with the state-run Vienna Funeral Directors organisation. He was in charge of the Museum of Interment in Vienna. He retired in 1999 but continues to work as a consultant for the Vienna Funeral Directors organisation.
