Laura, a confident 47-year old, takes a sabbatical from her family and her business. She has decided that for a few months she will live on her own and get herself back on track. During this period, she writes down whatever she experiences in a diary. The clash between being a successful businesswoman in a luxurious villa and her current humble existence as a single in a tiny flat creates an upheaval of emotions. Her convictions on career, success, looks, status symbols, and consumerism are suddenly shattered. As her ex-husband, (but still business partner) turns away from her, she begins to despair. Her obviously naïve idea of returning to her family and business, like the phoenix reborn, is truly in serious danger.
