How do you get a snack for a child if you're in Orinoco? Why does Neptune hold a trident instead of a knife? Questions which our heroine, a journalist living in Vienna, could answer without much ado. A far more difficult question to answer is how she can survive a stage appearance with some dignity or how to get Cortisone from the chemists who usually turn down her request or how to deal with her therapist who behaves like her mother. Not to mention the in-fights with her ex-best friend and her ex-husband, her frequent one-night stands, and one very unpleasant person. No wonder she dreams of throwing in the towel and disappearing off the face of the Earth. Thanks to her sense for the ridiculous and her abundant fantasy, a teenage daughter on the right track as well as good friends, it isn't long before she finds herself on firm solid ground once again.
